Upholstery is something I encourage you to try. It is not as daunting as it may seem and it is a great way to give a whole new look to a tired piece of furniture. Even when you're certain your furniture is outdated or doesn't fit your style, recovering it can give it an entirely new look and feel.
There are various levels of upholstery techniques and some require a lot of practice and expertise; curves, for example, can be tricky. Additionally, upholstering in leather is a different game altogether. In this quick 15 minute video you will learn all the tips and tricks you'll need to successfully upholster in leather, even curved and contoured pieces.

Thank you for taking the time to do and post a video of this nature. I am upholstering a chaise I made. It curves in two directions.
I am restoring a older vehicle and want to do interior myself any how to videos on dash door panels etc. Would be deeply appreciated.
Thank You

the video on how to upholster leather on a curve chair was quite useful. How would you recommend upholstering on a sling like dining chair. I have 8 with that faux leather and it’s peeling. I hate to get rid of them as I love the chair/design and think re-upholstering them would solve the problem, but not quite sure how to start or do it.
Great video, thank you for all the helpful info. I have a curved metal frame barstool with a broken wicker seat I’m preparing to attempt to reweave in leather strips. Do you think the same theory of getting the leather wet first to make it more pliable as well as have it shrink up when it dries would be the same as your reupholstering with leather? Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and style!
Hi, if i want a neat piped edge or even a stitched edge, how do i get this detail to sit precisely on the edge after pulling and massaging the leather.
I’m trying ti create very high end furniture with leather and exotic woods. Being a beginner at upholstery might beca big ask but i learn fast and would be open to any reading / studying material you could advise
Many thanks and regards
Terry
